Guillaume DE POSCHCo-Chief Executive Officer, RTL Group (B)
Guillaume de Posch, born in 1958, started his career at the international energy and services company Tractebel (1985 to 1990) and then joined the global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company (1990 to 1993).
Guillaume de Posch began his career in the media industry at the Luxembourg-based Compagnie Luxembourgeoise de Télédiffusion (CLT), as assistant to the Managing Director (1993 to 1994) and then became Head of CLT’s TV operations in French-speaking countries (1995 to 1997). From 1997 to 2003, he was Deputy General Manager and Programming Director of the French pay-TV company TPS, before joining the publicly listed ProSiebenSat1 Media AG in August 2003, first as Chief Operating Officer and then as Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO (2004 to 2008).
Guillaume de Posch was appointed Chief Operating Officer and new member of the RTL Group Executive Committee on 1 January 2012.
With effect from 18 April 2012, Guillaume de Posch assumed the role of Co-CEO of RTL Group. In this capacity, he is responsible for the Group’s broadcasting operations outside Germany, and the Group’s content production business, FremantleMedia.
Since 28 April 2015, Guillaume de Posch has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Groupe M6.
Paul SERVAESCreative Director & Partner B.O.A.T.S. (BE)
Paul studied Law and Criminology.
But he started his career as a DJ and producer at one of Belgium’s leading radio stations.
In 1990, Paul started as a copywriter, first at Garbarski/Euro RSCG and moving on to the local Belgian creative hotshops Air, Famous and Duval Guillaume. In 2007, Paul became Executive Creative Director and managing partner at Publicis Brussels. As a copywriter and creative director, Paul has won more than 100 creative awards in Belgium and over 60 awards on the international scene, of which 13 Cannes Lions...
He’s also a scriptwriter and a producer for radio and television.
Last year he cofounded B.O.A.T.S. (Based On A True Story), a Brandertainment Content Hub that creates bridges between advertising and entertainment to serve brands.
Jean-Luc CHETRITCEO Carat France (FR)
Jean-Luc CHETRIT, 50 years old, graduated from the Lyon business school (EM Lyon). He began his career within the commercial department of Procter & Gamble. He joined Nestle in 1994, where he occupied, in France and then in Asia, growing responsibilities in both marketing (the Nescafé brand) and in the development of large accounts (Carrefour, Tesco, Wal-Mart).
In 2005, he joined Gillette Europe where he became Chief of large international accounts. Returning to Procter & Gamble, he was named head of commercial management for France and Europe for several of the group large accounts.
In 2009, Jean-Luc CHETRIT was the director of Marketing Communication at Procter & Gamble France and a member of the leadership committee. In this position, he notably successfully put in place a new marketing organization and a new model of collaboration with the agencies and media partners, allowing the development of more integrated communication plans. He also led the rapid development of digital activities and brand content, awarded numerous prizes. He is also a member of the leadership committee of the Union of Advertisers (Union des Annonceurs).
Since october 2012 Jean-Luc CHETRIT has been named to the position of President of Carat France, the world's leading independent media planning and buying specialist and the market-leader in digital and non-traditional media solutions. In 2013 he became also vice-president of UDECAM (Union of media agencies) then President in 2015 and 2016.
Wilfried CELISPresident of strategical committee ‘Kijken’ & Sales Director Medialaan (BE)
Wilfried Celis started his career in media as a local sales representative at Concentra in 1997. He has worked for most Belgian editors, among them Roularta Media Group and Corelio (now Mediahuis) in several commercial jobs. In 2005 he joined Medialaan to lead the TV-salesteam.
In 2012 Wilfried was nominated as Media Representative of the Year.
For several years he serves in the board of BVAM/ ABMA (the broadcaster federation) and the board of CIM.
Recently he was asked to lead the strategic committee “viewing” to create a vision and implement new standards in video measurement.
Hugo GAUDERISNorkring - Technology Manager (B)
Graduated as a civil engineer in Telecommunications, Hugo Gauderis started his career at the public broadcaster VRT. During 16 years he worked for the VRT transmitter department where he was responsible for the planning and roll-out of the DAB and DVB-T networks. After a short intermezzo in VRT Medialab, Hugo joined the private network operator Norkring België in 2009. Within Norkring Hugo is responsible for all the technology choices.
Dominique LIEVYNSNorkring - Chief Sales & Marketing Officer (B)
Since February 2010, Dominique Lievyns is active as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for Norkring België. His responsibility is sales and market development.
Previously, he was responsible at Siemens for managing a cross-functional team to conceptualize, sale and deploy the first IPTV solution in Belgium : Proximus TV.
He grew into head Global Media & Entertainment Solutions for digital fix & mobile TV for Nokia Siemens Networks.
Mark FRIENDRadio and Music Multiplatform Controller - BBC (UK)
Mark runs BBC Radio’s digital services and music output across digital radio, desktop, TV and mobile platforms. This includes developing and running iPlayer Radio, major music events, listen again, mobile and tablet apps, visual radio, podcasts, social media, hybrid radio, archive and text and data services. Mark was previously the BBC’s Controller of Strategy where he led the Charter settlement in 2005, developed the BBC’s new services vision and helped launch BBC
iPlayer and mobile services. Before joining the BBC, Mark spent several years launching and running new businesses at ITN and riding a motorbike halfway round the world across the former Soviet Union and USA.
Mark BARBERPlanning Director Radiocentre (UK)
In his role of Planning Director at the Radiocentre, Mark is responsible for developing its award-winning research and content strategy. He is the architect of the RAB’s highly successful ‘radioGAUGE’, ‘Online Multiplier’, ‘Media & the mood of the nation’, ‘ROI Multiplier’ research projects; and is co-author of the book ‘An advertiser’s guide to better radio advertising’ published by Wiley. In 2015 he received an MBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honour’s list for services to commercial radio.
Before joining the RAB, Mark spent 18 years as a strategic media planner on blue-chip clients across a number of agencies, most recently as Communications Planning Director at Universal McCann where, amongst others, he ran the Bacardi Martini, Nestle, MasterCard and Microsoft accounts.
